Pre-Order & Reservation Policy

This Pre-Order & Reservation Policy ("Pre-Order Policy") governs your purchase of hardware, software, accessories, services, memberships, and other products or offerings designated by SkyMapper, Inc. ("SkyMapper," "we," "our," or "us") as available for pre-order or reservation (collectively, "Pre-Order Products").

This Pre-Order Policy supplements SkyMapper's Terms of Service and Refund & Warranty Policy. By placing a pre-order or reservation, you agree to this Policy.

1. What is a Pre-Order

A pre-order allows you to reserve a product or offering before it is available for shipment, delivery, or general availability.

By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge that:

  • The Pre-Order Product is not yet available.

  • Features, specifications, pricing, and availability may change prior to release.

  • Estimated shipment and delivery dates are provided for planning purposes only and are not guaranteed.

2. Payment Terms

Payment terms for each pre-order program will be disclosed at the time of purchase.

Depending on the applicable program, SkyMapper may require:

  • Full payment at the time of purchase; or

  • A deposit followed by one or more future payments before shipment or delivery.

By placing a pre-order, you authorize SkyMapper to charge your selected payment method in accordance with the payment schedule disclosed at the time of purchase.

3. Failure to Complete Payment

If a pre-order program requires future payments, you are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method and completing all required payments by the applicable deadlines.

If SkyMapper is unable to collect any required payment, SkyMapper may cancel your reservation or pre-order. Any refunds will be handled in accordance with this Pre-Order Policy and the payment terms applicable to the specific pre-order program.

4. Estimated Delivery and Delays

Any shipment or delivery dates provided are estimates only.

Delays may occur due to factors including, but not limited to:

  • Manufacturing timelines

  • Supply chain constraints

  • Product development and testing

  • Regulatory approvals

  • Shipping or logistics disruptions

  • Events beyond SkyMapper's reasonable control

SkyMapper does not guarantee shipment or delivery by any specific date.

5. Order Priority and Fulfillment

Pre-orders are generally fulfilled in the order received. However, SkyMapper reserves the right to:

  • Allocate inventory based on geographic, operational, legal, or strategic considerations;

  • Prioritize certain orders, including pilot programs, testing initiatives, partnerships, or regulatory requirements; and

  • Ship products in batches or phases.

6. Changes to Products

Prior to shipment or delivery, SkyMapper may modify product specifications, features, functionality, components, packaging, or design.

Minor or non-material changes do not entitle you to a refund.

Refunds based on changes to a Pre-Order Product are available only if SkyMapper makes a significant change to the final product design that materially affects its core functionality or specifications, or as otherwise required by applicable law.

Images, renderings, and promotional materials are provided for illustrative purposes only and may not exactly reflect the final product.

7. Cancellation Before Shipment

Cancellation rights, if any, will be disclosed as part of the applicable pre-order program.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific pre-order program, pre-order refunds are available only if:

  • SkyMapper cancels the order; or

  • SkyMapper makes a significant change to the final product design that materially affects its core functionality or specifications.

All other pre-order cancellations are non-refundable.

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method.

8. After Shipment or Delivery

Once a Pre-Order Product has shipped or otherwise been delivered, it becomes subject to SkyMapper's Refund & Warranty Policy and any applicable return conditions.

9. Failure to Fulfill

If SkyMapper determines that it is unable to fulfill your pre-order, we will notify you and issue a full refund of all amounts paid.

10. Communication

SkyMapper may provide updates regarding:

  • Production status

  • Estimated shipment or delivery windows

  • Product development

  • Shipping timelines

These communications are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute guarantees.

11. Pricing, Taxes, and Shipping

Unless expressly stated otherwise, displayed prices do not include applicable taxes, duties, customs fees, import charges, or shipping costs. Such amounts, where applicable, will be calculated and charged in accordance with the terms of the applicable pre-order program and governing law.

12. Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders

SkyMapper reserves the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any pre-order at its discretion, including in cases involving suspected fraud, pricing errors, legal restrictions, export compliance, or other circumstances that prevent fulfillment.

If SkyMapper cancels a pre-order after receiving payment, any refundable amount will be returned in accordance with this Policy.

13. Force Majeure

SkyMapper shall not be liable for delays or failures to perform resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, labor disputes, governmental actions, supply shortages, transportation disruptions, utility failures, or other force majeure events.

14. Changes to This Policy

SkyMapper may update this Pre-Order Policy from time to time.

Any updates will apply prospectively and will not materially affect existing pre-orders without notice where required by applicable law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SkyMapper shall not be liable for:

  • Delays in shipment or delivery;

  • Changes to product specifications or features;

  • Loss of anticipated use or business opportunities; or

  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to a pre-order.

Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

16. Governing Law

This Pre-Order Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.13. Contact
