SkyMapper, Inc. (“SkyMapper”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent about our privacy practices. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you when you visit our website at www.skymapper.io, any subdomain thereof, or any related mobile or desktop applications, including any content or functionality offered on or through any of the foregoing (collectively, the “Site”), or when you make any purchase through the Site. This Privacy Policy also describes our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing such information.
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect on the Site or through your access or use of the same, and in any email, text, or other electronic messages between you and the Site. Except as otherwise expressly set forth herein, it does not apply to information collected by us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by us or any third party, nor to information collected by any other third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Site.

Relationship with Shopify
The Site is hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Site in order to provide and improve your experience with the Site. Information you submit to the Site will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify as well as third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside, in order to provide and improve the Site for you. In addition, to help protect, grow, and improve our business, we use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data and information obtained from your interactions with our Site, along with other merchants and with Shopify. To provide these enhanced features, Shopify may make use of personal information collected about your interactions with our store, along with other merchants, and with Shopify. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal information, including for responding to your requests to exercise your rights over use of your personal information for these purposes. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites, including the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information found on these sites. Information you provide on public or semi-public venues, including information you share on third-party social networking platforms may also be viewable by other users of the Site and/or users of those third-party platforms without limitation as to its use by us or by a third party. Our inclusion of such links does not, by itself, imply any endorsement of the content on such platforms or of their owners or operators, except as disclosed on the Site.
Children's Data
The Site is not intended for or directed to children. No one under age 16 may provide any information to or on the Site. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under age 16. If you are younger than 16 years of age, do not use or provide any information on the Site or any of its features or otherwise provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or username you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under age 16, we will delete that information. Security and Retention of Your Information
Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security." In addition, any information you send to us may not be secure while in transit. We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.
How long we retain your personal information depends on different factors, such as whether we need the information to maintain your account, to provide you with Site, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce other applicable contracts and policies.
Your Rights and Choices
We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

Emails. SkyMapper may send service updates, service notifications, promotional information (including, without limitation, SkyMapper newsletters) and other communications to you via email. Promotional email communications will contain instructions describing how you can opt out of receiving future promotional emails from us. You may also email us at thom@skymapper.io to be removed from our mailing list. If you opt out of promotional emails, you may continue to receive non-promotional, transactional emails from us.
Targeted Advertising. If you do not want us to use information that we collect or that you provide to us to deliver advertisements according to our advertisers’ target-audience preferences, you can opt-out by sending us an email with your request to thom@skymapper.io.
Limiting Provided Information. You can choose not to provide us with certain information. If you decline to provide certain information, however, please note that some features of the Site may then be inaccessible.
Accessing, Correcting, and Retaining Your Information
You may send us an email at thom@skymapper.io to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
We retain personal information that we collect for as long as we need to use it in connection with our business and in accordance with our standard practices or in compliance with applicable laws. When we no longer need the personal information, we will deidentify, aggregate, or delete this information where required by law.
Your State Privacy Rights
California Residents. California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah Residents. Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah each provide their state residents with rights to: (i) confirm whether we process their personal information; (ii) access and delete certain personal information; (iii) data portability; and (iv) opt-out of personal data processing for targeted advertising and sales. Additionally, Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia also provide their state residents with rights to: (v) correct inaccuracies in their personal information, taking into account the information’s nature and processing purpose; and (vi) opt-out of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Nevada Residents. Nevada provides its residents with a limited right to opt-out of certain personal information sales. Residents who wish to exercise this sale opt-out right may submit a request in writing to us by email at thom@skymapper.io or to the mailing address set forth at the end of this Policy. However, please know that we do not currently sell data triggering that statute’s opt out requirements.
Your European and UK Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of the European Union or the UK, you are entitled to certain information and have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (the “GDPR”) or the UK GDPR adopted post Brexit (also referred to herein for convenience as simply the “GDPR”). Furthermore, if you believe that our processing of your information is inconsistent with your data protection rights under the GDPR and we have not adequately addressed your concerns, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority of your country.
For purposes of the GDPR, we are a “controller” and you are a “data subject.”
“Do Not Track” Requests
Some web browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature. This feature lets you tell websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. These features are not yet uniform across browsers. The Site is not currently set up to respond to those signals.
Complaints
If you have complaints about how we process your personal information, please contact us using the contact details provided below. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to appeal our decision by contacting us using the contact details set out below, or lodge your complaint with your local data protection authority. International Transfers
Please note that we may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country you live in.
If we transfer your personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we will rely on recognized transfer mechanisms like the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or any equivalent contracts issued by the relevant competent authority of the UK, as relevant, unless the data transfer is to a country that has been determined to provide an adequate level of protection.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on this website, update the "Last updated" date and provide notice as required by applicable law.
