SkyBridge includes a computer, GPS, and Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing your telescope to link up seamlessly with the decentralized SkyMapper network. Once you the SkyBridge is connected, the SkyMapper network can control the telescope, acquire data, and even perform some data analysis using the device’s onboard processors, including AI-based algorithms and feature detection.

SkyBridge is part of our Early Adopter Program, where you will be part of the final science, software, and DePIN development phases of SkyMapper’s telescope network, including access to experimental features and our first gamified experience. Additionally you will have access to SkyViewer, our platform that allows you to use telescopes on our network from around the world.
