Unlike traditional all-sky cameras that simply record images, SkySphere is built as an intelligent observation platform. Each device processes observations locally, applies AI-powered feature detection, securely records metadata, and contributes to the decentralized SkyMapper network, where observations can be explored, verified, and shared through SkyViewer.
The Founder Edition is a limited pre-order reserved for the first members of the SkySphere network. Founder Editions will begin shipping December 2026, approximately six months before the general production release, giving Founders the opportunity to actively participate in refining the SkySphere experience through real-world use and feedback. During this period, you'll work alongside the SkyMapper team as we continue enhancing hardware, software, AI capabilities, and the SkyViewer platform before full public availability.
